My First Playoff Game Experience

Coming into Citi Field on Sunday night was an amazing feeling knowing how awesome my first, ever playoff game would be… To sum it up-the energy in the stadium was incredible and the fans were so pumped and it was a wierd feeling noticing how the fans changed from a Normal regular season outing… The mets won as you know and the fans were already looking forward to tonight’s game in Wrigley where the Mets try to go up 3-0 in the series! What an awesome experience and...

Fun at Citi Field!

I got to experience a great Mets game last night with Bartolo Colón on the mound vs the Braves! Colón pitched alright, but his incredible and immaculate 3 game hit streak was snapped…he came close to getting a hit but couldn’t get it done with a line out… The Mets got power from- Wilmer Flores and John Mayberry jr. with big homers!  (Inactives: David Wright, Dan Murphy, Lucas Duda, Travis d’Arnaud, Dillon Gee and Ruben Tejada were not in the lineup for various reasons…) We got to visit the box at field level so thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Katz for the special invitation! Here I got to watch the game with my brother, parents and Grandparents. Not only did we just get to watch from the box but we spent a few innings behind home plate! What an experience to be so close to the action, and witness the aspects of baseball at a major league level… Such a cool view! Also a highlight from last night was meeting and talking to sports reporting icon and one of my personal idols, Len Berman! Thank you Len for taking the time to talk with me about sports and check out my...

On a Personal Note

I played my 2nd baseball game last night (3rd for my team) and took are 1st win 10-9. In the game I pitched 4 innings in the cold and actually let up my 1st hit in the 4th inning! But we let up 5 runs on walks and stolen bases to home while we had 1 error that a batter reached 1st on. I had 2 doubles, a line out and a Game winning RBI walk (I wish it was a hit). We saved the game in the top of the 6th (last inning) with a nice save and runners on 2nd and 3rd! Great game guys!     In our 1st game even crazier we got up 9-0 by the top of the 2nd and in the other team’s bottom of the 2nd, they scored 7 and made some comebacks! Then by the end it was 11-9 us heading into the bottom of the sixth. And we tied, how? Because they stole home TWICE! On a strike out AND a walk. Who knew? I was really confused.  Leave your thoughts...
