Last night I visited the NY Auto show in the city with my friend Ian who is a car blogger and just had an awesome TV debut with Pix11, my dad, brother and friends… We saw so many cool cars including my favorite, the BMW i8 and a new Ford GT! But I did see former Islander star Mike Bossy at the ESPN station! As I promised him I would put a post up for him! Thanks Mike for the signed puck and...Read More

I know there’s a lot of College and Pro football going on, but I have to blog about my friend Ian’s amazing trip to the Circuit of The Americas, the Formula 1 Race Track in Austin, Texas. He’s already been to the practice round on Friday and the qualifying round on Saturday, but today is race day which starts at 2:00 PM ET. On top of all the cool racing he’s been able to see so far, he had two awesome highlights. First was his interview on F1 T.V. Ian was in the stands and was chosen to be interviewed by one of the reporters…Ian’s dad was able to video the interview and we got to see how it was broadcasted on the Jumbotron…how cool was that! Then, later in the night, when he was in downtown Austin, he was soooooo lucky to see one of his favorite drivers, Lewis Hamilton. With Ian’s determination, he got his way through the crowd (and body guards) and was able to get an awesome picture with Lewis – that’s like if was able to get a picture standing next to David Wright. The F1 sport is not well know in the US and this is just the 3rd year that F1 is back in the US. North America will now have 3 races a year, Canada, US and Mexico is also getting...Read More
My summer sabbatical is over and I am back to blogging! I had a terrific summer at Camp this year! I loved all my friends and the fact I got to play sports all day, every day. I may have not had my eyes glued to a device all summer, but I’ve stayed tuned in the sports world with the help of my counselors and a big shout out for Mark Carberry who was Mr.Sports in the morning and kept our whole boys side tuned in on everything we missed from baseball scores, to the basketball off-season, to social media and lastly, but most memorably, his Bo-Sox who currently sit in last by 14.5 gms ;( . As he always said: “Get the rye, get the mustard, because today’s gonna’ be a grannnd Salami of a day!” And before you know it, you’re counting down to summer 2015. Now here I am, blogging again… Yesterday the Mets lost 2-1 to the Cubbies after beating them twice in a row. In Queens, that’s good baseball 🙂 .After a Grandy RBI, the Mets kept it tied 1 all going into the 9th and you could guess what happened. Classic Met letdown on a Starlin Castro HR in he top of the 9th. This puts NYM at a 59-66 record, 7 below 500. And before the season we were talking about 90...Read More
