Why? I’m sorry Redskins fans, but trade has the making of a regrettable one, and it’s very clear why. Last night, the ‘Skins and Chiefs shocked the football world by agreeing in principle to a blockbuster deal that will send QB Alex Smith to Washington for a 3rd RD pick, and young CB KendallFuller. Additionally, the Redskins signed the 34 year old Smith, to an outrageous 4 YR/$94M extension ($71M guaranteed!) to lock him up in DC for the foreseeable future. Here’s the deal… Smith is an awesome QB, and put up arguably the best numbers by a signal caller this season in the NFL, and in my mind, he’s got plenty left in the tank....
