Sports, sports, sportity sports! I have a lot to write about for my 96th blog post. 4 more to go! First some Soccer news : Yesterday Barcalona superstar Lionel Messi was carted of the field when he tripped on the Benfcia goalie and missed a left foot shot. In the champions league thats a BIG loss for FC Barcalona. Messi’s literally the only scorer on Barcalona and that makes them win games. It’s was already bad for Barcalona when they lost star defender Puyol. Quick update from scorecenter is : Messi starts light workout on Friday after knee bruise in draw vs Benfica. Now B-ball : Yesterday was a big day in B-ball. First Laker news : KB30K! Kobe Bryant of the Lakers made big history last night. He got his 30 thousandth pt yesterday vs the Hornets. He joined these ledgends in the club : Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone. Kobe was also the youngest player to do that at 34 years and 104 days. That’s a big milestone for Bryant. Even former Laker Magic Johnson said “he’s the best laker in history.” Now I’m reporting the Knicks : “J.R. SSMMIITTHH”! J.R Smith did a little for a lot. With 3.4 seconds left in the 98-98 tie game vs Michael Jordan’s Bobcats. J.R Smith called a timeout, got the ball back with nearly 1 second...

RG3!!!!!

RG3!!! Last night on MNF RG3 took over the game in the 17-16 win vs the Super Bowl champion G-men. RG3 has taken over football with his running game and deep ball game. RG3 is very fast and dangerous, with his deep ball he can throw about 30-40 yds! He really looks like a Heisman trophy winner and 1st round NFL pick. He has really helped Washington after their bad slump over the years. Now they are competitors for the playoffs. Last night he scored 19 fantasy pts had a TD pass to WR Pierre Garçon. He ran a lot also. I am very happy I drafted RG3 to my fantasy team. Do you think the Redskins are true competitors with RG3 in their hands? “YES REX”! Yesterday in football Jets coach Rex Ryan did something Jets fans were hoping for every week! You can definitly guess what he did he benched Sanchez and started McLroy! Wait McLroy? Why not Tebow? Well Tebow was out with fractured ribs. The 6th round pick McLroy out of the Alabama Crimson Tide was a sensation yesterday! Rex took Sanchez out in the 3rd after throwing 3 picks in the first half, then he put McLroy in. McLroy went down all the way to the 1 yd line with lots of run action and passing then threw a TD to lead 7-3. The Cardinals only got a FG and time expired. The Jets won 7-6! Too many signs and trades! I can’t follow all of them! Here are some… First Baseball – More signs and trades occurred yesterday in baseball. Here they are : Twins trade OF Denard Span to Nats for minor league pitchers. Yankees sign closer Mariano Rivera to a 1 year deal after missing last season from tearing ACL while shagging fly. C Russel Martin signs 1 year deal with Pirates. Now Mets fans here’s what you’ve all been waiting for, 3B David Wright signed a 8 year deal with the Mets! That’s the largest contract the Mets ever signed. The superstar Wright leads the Mets franchise in most hitting categories. Here’s a first for me, now I’m writing about Hockey! They’re talking and talking but not doing and doing and doing! The Hockey season is still in a lockout and the NHL can’t sign this complicated contract with someone! Just play the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What are your thoughts on this? Now Lastly football- Luckily this report doesn’t include contracts it includes interceptions. Last night Drew Brees had his worst game in a WWHHIILLEE. He threw 5 picks and ended his NFL record of 54 straight games with a TD pass. Drew Brees got a dissappointing 4.64pts in fantasy football.
