The World Series is all set!

The World Series is all set! Last night in the Cardinal vs Giants game 7 the Giants won the NLCS and the Cards went home. In last night’s game SP Matt Cain left with a win in 5.2 solid innings. He had 4 k’s and let up 5 hits. The hit that broke open the game was Hunter Pence’s. With the bases loaded he hit the ball, broke his bat, and the ball went past the SS to clear the bases. What’s weird about that hit is if you see the hit in slow-motion he touches the ball 3 times! Cool right? A 5 run 3rd inning was all the Giants needed to clinch the Fall Classic. The Giants won 9-0. The MVP of that Series was Giants Marco Scutaro. The World Series matchup will be Intresting this year when 2 unexpected playoff teams battle. Who will win and who will be the MVP in that...

See what happens Girardi!

See what happens Girardi! When you bench your good players you get knocked out of playoffs. The Yanks got crushed 8-1 to the Tigers. Yankees ace pitcher CC Sabathia got knocked out of the game after 3.2 innings. He had 6 earned runs, let up 11 hits, and had 3 k’s. Tigers pitcher Max Sherzer had 1 earned run, 10 k’s, and let up 2 hits in 5.2 strong innings. The Tigers batting really showed up last night with HR’s by Miguel Cabrera, Austin Jackson, and 2 terrific HR’s by the MVP Johnny Peralta. The only Yankee run came from a Nunez triple and a Swisher hit. A-rod and Grandy eventually came in. Everybody knew the Tigers would win after a few innings. The Yanks really played poorly while the Tigers played on their A-game. That was the first time the Yankees got swept in a best of 7 series since the 1980 KC Royals. Congrats Tigers on winning the ALCS. Will the Yankees play like this next...

Why do that?

Why do that? Yanks skipper Joe Girardi benched both A-rod and “the Grandy man” Curtis Granderson. Why bench both your HR hitters? That’s the question. Another question is why bench A-rod when your paying him a MONSTER contract? I think its like throwing 1 million bucks in the garbage. When I found out this happened I said ” horrible decision”. ” The Yanks are going to have a tough game tomorrow”. If I were Yankees skipper I would lower A-rod’s contract if I put him on the bench a lot or keep his contract as it is and play him. I still don’t know why he benched Granderson. If the Yankees lose tonight does that show a sign that they’re going to struggle next...

Walkoff #2 Yanks vs O’s. After trailing 2-1 in the 9th Raul Ibanez pinch hit for the struggling A-rod and hit a game tying HR! The whole Yankees dugout was celebrating especially A-Rod.
