Feasting And Beasting

Touchdowns and Fantasy Points! Coming to a TV near you! Yesterday’s thanksgiving games were action packed (Just for the winning team)… There were 3 blowout victories on Thanksgiving yesterday and 2 of them sent their own fans with upset stomachs on turkey and a loss. Here’s a recap on all 3 games… Bears @ Lions: Detroit is yet hosting ANOTHER thanksgiving feast against the Bears! (Fun Fact: This is the Lions 75th Thanksgiving Day game!) The game started off surprisingly strong for Chicago against Detroit’s top notch D. QB Jay Cutler threw 2 TD’s to Alshon Jeffery in that 1st Quarter to take a 14-3 lead. And then everything stopped for Chicago, they only scored 1 more time the whole game on a Robbie Gould FG while Detroit scored 21 unanswered points on 2 Megatron TD’s and a Joique Bell 1 YD TD. The game ended in a 34-17 blowout win for Detroit to help their playoff chances and improve to 8-4, .5 of a game behind the white hot Packers who play the AFC’s best Patriots in the top matchup of Sunday. Detroit is in the playoff picture as of now with the 6 seed but could very well move up with a soft schedule to close out the year. Matthew Stafford feasted on Chicago’s soft secondary throwing for 390 yards and 2 TD’s. His #1 target Calvin...

MLB Award Winners

The MLB season is over and the awards are being given out one-by-one. And each one is good, here are your winners so far… NL Cy Young- Clayton Kershaw (3rd time winning award) AL Cy Young- Corey Kluber NL Rookie of the year- Jacob deGrom AL Rookie of the year- Jose Abreu AL Manager of the year- Buck Showalter NL Manager Of the Year- Matt Williams There were 9 silver slugger and 9 gold glove winners from the AL and NL plus 2 platinum’s from each category… Most of these predictions were accurate from many sources I looked through except the Corey Kluber upset of King Felix Hernandez… Also MLB GM Meetings are starting and trades, contract disscusions, and F.A signing negotiations and signings are starting! I’m predicting the Mets and Cubs to make big splashes for the 1st time in a while this off-season. Just warning you, they might be serious young contenders next season if they cannonball through Free...

High scoring, High Flying Day!

Week 10 is now awaiting it’s last game of the week tonight where the Eagles and Panthers will face off. Former Jets QB (who totally trashed and made a bad mark on the Jets with his poor play) Mark Sanchez will try to restart his roller coaster career making his 1st start for the Eagles with Nick Foles injured.  Since week 11 is awaiting for us, here’s a sneak peak on the playoff picture as of now (Herm Edwards would be screaming “PLAYOFFS, YOU TALKING ‘BOUT PLAYOFFS”)… AFC 1-New England Patriots – 7-2 2-Denver Broncos – 7-2 3-Indianapolis Colts -6-3 4-(You’re NEVER gonna guess it) CLEVELAND BROWNS-6-3! 5-Kansas City Chiefs-6-3 (wild card) 6-Cincinatti Bengals- 5-3-1 ^^^ In the Hunt: Pittsburgh Steelers-6-4 Baltimore Ravens-6-4   NFC- 1-Arizona Cardinals-8-1 2-Detroit Lions-7-2 3-Phillidelphia Eagles-6-2 (playing tonight) 4-New Orleans Saints- 4-5 (best in their division) 5-Dallas Cowboys-7-3 6-Seattle Seahawks-6-3 In the Hunt: Green Bay Packers-6-3 San Francisco 49’ers-5-4   News: Packers QB Aaron Rodgers throws 6 *first half TD’s* to tie an NFL record and beat the rival Bears 55-14 in a whopping win. The NFL *single game* record is 7 most recently by Nick Foles and Peyton Manning. Rodgers would of demolished that record but he was pulled for the 2nd half. The Jets FINALLY won beating the red-hot Steelers 20-13. Ben Rothlisberger was coming off a record 2 straight games with...

Fantasy F1 Trip…

I know there’s a lot of College and Pro football going on, but I have to blog about my friend Ian’s amazing trip to the Circuit of The Americas, the Formula 1 Race Track in Austin, Texas.  He’s already been to the practice round on Friday and the qualifying round on Saturday, but today is  race day which starts at 2:00 PM ET.  On top of all the cool racing he’s been able to see so far, he had two awesome highlights.  First was his interview on F1 T.V.  Ian was in the stands and was chosen to be interviewed by one of the reporters…Ian’s dad was able to video the interview and we got to see how it was broadcasted on the Jumbotron…how cool was that!  Then, later in the night, when he was in downtown Austin, he was soooooo lucky to see one of his favorite drivers, Lewis Hamilton.  With Ian’s determination, he got his way through the crowd (and body guards) and was able to get an awesome picture with Lewis – that’s like if was able to get a picture standing next to David Wright. The F1 sport is not well know in the US and this is just the 3rd year that F1 is back in the US.  North America will now have 3 races a year, Canada, US and Mexico is also getting...
