“All Aboard”! BLOWOUT CENTRAL!

The NBA  round 2 playoffs started yesterday with 2 blowouts.   Despite blowout day 1, I think these series can be extremely close. Here are the scores from yesterday…   Nets     86             Deron Williams- 17 points, 3 rebounds and assists Heat    107           LeBron James- 22 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists   Spurs  116           Tony Parker- 33 points, 9 assists, 3 rebounds Blazers 92           LaMarcus Aldridge- 32 points, 14 rebounds And I thought these games (above) were going to be to the end! I really like the Nets vs. Heat series, it reminds me of a Boston vs. Miami game last year (but Boston just got better)…  In the end, Miami has THE Big 3 and is potentially splitting up, so they will and can win this series but not without some major road-blocks. The Blazers vs. Spurs series should be good but Portland doesn’t have enough good players to defeat San Antonio’s stars, and the fact that Portland is a young team with a potential. I have Spurs in 6… The NFL Draft is tomorrow!!!!!!!   I am soooooooooooo excited!!!!! Hopefully my Jets will make a good move, maybe going with Odell Beckham jr. to boost their speedy offense.  The Jets are building a fast,...

An Awesome Day as a Met!

On Saturday, my family and friends visited Citi Field to become a official Met for the day! Once we walked in, we signed a 1 day contract with the Mets. We experienced almost everything a Mets player would do in a day, including: stretch in the outfield, run the bases, batting practice, shag balls and have a catch in the outfield.  We even had a press conference and it was awesome! At the event I saw how high the home run wall actually is and how much space the outfielders need to cover out there.   So for now on, if I see a missed ball on a tough play,  I understand and appreciate why they missed it. 🙂   The infield was HUGE, much bigger than my little league field, but it was very cool when I connected on a big shot that made it to the outfield grass!   And yes, my 1st press conference was pretty cool to.  I was asked some questions about how my day was going and who my favorite Met is ( I of course stuck with Wright).  Lastly, I got my name on the score board in right field, along with my brother and both my friends! It was awesome to see my name up there and I had so much fun at Kids Met Fantasy Day. A special shout out...

Get Ready For Game 7!

Last night’s games in the NBA determined 3 Game 7’s will be played in round 1 of the playoffs! If the 3 games tonight turn into game 7’s that would be 6! I am psyched! Here are the potential and set game 7’s… Raptors @ Nets*     Spurs  @ Mavericks*    Blazers vs. Rockets*   Hawks @ Pacers   Warriors @ Clippers    Grizzlies @ Thunder                *= team needs to win to force gm 7… Last night in the NBA, Kevin Durant showed off his talents while proving that the “Daily Oklahoman” ‘s response on his series should give him the name ” Mr. Unreliable” that does not describe KD especially because he may win this year’s MVP award. Don’t judge a MVP on 1 game was the lesson learned…  Anyway, KD scored 36 and grabbed 10 boards in the 20 point win.   Game 7 is in OKC… Scores- Pacers  95  – Hawks 88   Gm 7 in Indy…       Thunder 104- Grizzlies 84 (only 2nd non-OT game in series) Game 7 in OKC…       Warriors 100- Clippers 99  Game 7 in L.A…. Mets Recap- The Mets and Bartolo Colon faced the Rockies in Colorado last night. Colon was roughed up in this game, he threw only 4.2 innings and let up 7 runs. He only...

Sterling Banned For Life By Adam Silver

New Commissioner Adam Silver completed his 1st big test as the NBA commish when he suspended Clippers Owner Donald Sterling for LIFE from the Clippers organization and NBA activities. He was also fined the max, $2.5 M for his rude and inappropriate remarks. He also is forced to sell the team. Sterling has been owning the Clippers since 1981 and has been through many bad seasons with the Clippers being the team to laugh at of the league. He has also been named as a bad owner. The Clippers and fans may have not gone to Game 6 played last night if Sterling wasn’t gone from the NBA.  Despite Sterling gone, Clippers supporting companies are pausing their relationship for a while. Great decision by Silver, how do I know? The world and NBA is very happy now… NBA Scores- Clippers 113     DeAndre Jordan-  25 points, 18 rebounds, 4 blocks   Clippers lead 3-2 Warriors 103   Andre Iguodala – 18 points, 8 rebounds and assists   Grizzlies 100     Zach Randolph- 20 points, 10 rebounds  Grizzlies lead 3-2 Thunder 99       Russell Westbrook- 30 points, 13 assists, 10 rebounds   Wizards 75    John Wall- 24 points, 4 assists, 7 rebounds  Wizards win series 4-1 Bulls 69          Joakim Noah- 6 points, 18 rebounds, 7 assists NHL- Rangers 2   Carl...

Rockets and Bulls Are On the Edge

The Rockets and Bulls lost their 3rd game of the series yesterday and now are 1 game away from going home. These are 2 teams with high expectations so this would be disappointing to the franchise. Here are yesterday’s scores… Rockets 120      James Harden – 28 points, 6 assists Blazers 123        LaMarcus Aldridge – 29 points, 10 rebounds         (Blazers lead 3-1 in series)   Wizards 98        Trevor Ariza- 30 points, 8 rebounds ,  Nene (DNP Suspended for game), Wizards lead 3-1 in series Bulls 89               Taj Gibson- 33 points, 7 rebounds   Clippers 97        Blake Griffin- 21 points, 6 rebounds,  (Clippers turned practice jerseys inside out for warmups with no clippers logo showing and threw practice shirts in center court in protest of owner Donald Sterling and his mean comments) Sterling did not attend game… Warriors 108    Stephen Curry- 33 points, 7 rebounds and assists,  series tied 2-2   Raptors 87       DeMar DeRozan – 24 points, 5 rebounds Nets 79              Paul Pierce- 23 points, 5 rebounds   Yesterday the Mets shutout the Marlins 4-0. Dillon Gee improved his record to 2-1 and had a great game. Gee went 8 innings and struck out 6. David Wright had...
