I am checking my updates and see “Revis signs with New England!” First I say “TRADER”!!! And now I don’t like Revis… I wake up this morning and see “Decker to NY!” I am now smiling and extremely excited!!! I am more edited that the Jets did not waste all their money on a former #2 receiver. Here are the updates from the past few days… -Vontae Davis re-signs with Indianapolis on a 4 year, $39 M contract – Jaguars trade former 1st round pick QB, Blaine Gabbert to San Francisco for a 6th round pick – Former Raiders RB Rashad Jennings signed with the Giants (no details available) – Linval Joseph signed a 5 year, $31.5 M contract with Minnesota – Raiders RB Darren McFadden re-signed on a 1 year, $4 M contract – Mike Mitchell signed a 5 year, $25 M contract with the Steelers – Antoine Bethea signed a 4 year, $26 M contract with San Fransisco – Paul Soliai signed a 5 year, $33 M contract with the Falcons – Zane Beadles signed a 5 year, $30 M contract with the Jaguars – Malcolm Jenkins signed a 3 year, $16.25 M contract with the Eagles – Jacoby Jones re-signed with the Ravens on a 4 year, $14 M deal – Cleveland Browns QB’s Jason Campbell and former 1st round pick Brandon Weeden were released –...

Off to the Tourney!

Many Bracket spots were clinched and there is still many to go!!the excitement is mounting and here are the notable spots clinched yesterday! 1 Harvard 2 Wichita St. 3 Deleware 4 Manhattan Wichita St made the final 4 last year and went 34-0, a perfect season this year. They are projected to be a 1 seed, because of their record. They played no ranked teams this year and played in a weak conference. Look for them to immediately move conferences after this tourney… NFL- Free Agency signings will start today and today, all to be free-agents are now free-agents! I am sooooooooo excited! Over the weekend, I may do a full report for every important position, I love football so I will be following all moves and reporting them on my blog ASAP! My news for the day, Buccaneers CB Darrelle Revis who was acquired from the Jets for a 1st rounder last year will either be traded or released this week! A short run for the pro bowl CB on his new team! The Broncos, Patriots and Jets will be interested in every CB/DB from losses of Champ Bailey (Denver), Aquib Talib ( Patriots ) and Antonio Cromartie (Jets). The Jets will be fighting for a lot of WR’s and maybe a RB and...

Focused on Gold

Olympics: The Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia are coming VERY SHORTLY, and I have some breaking news. Shaun White of team USA is dropping out of Slopestyle because he doesn’t want to aggravate a potential wrist injury, he will focus on winning his 3rd straight Gold which would make history in Halfpipe. I am VERY excited for Hockey, it will be VERY intense. Baseball: Braves 1B Freddie Freeman signed a MONSTER contract with the Atlanta Braves, it is worth $135 Million and for 8 years. He will average a $16.875 Million for 8 years. If he keeps up his 20+ Home Run average a season and stays healthy, the deal for the power hitter is perfect. Freeman is only 24. This is the largest contract in Braves history. Spring training is approaching us and Pitchers and Catchers will report to their Spring training locations in 2 Days! But some key free agents are still homeless, here are the top pick-ups available. Pitchers- Fernando Rodney, Bronson Arroyo, Ubaldo Jimenez, Ervin Santana and A.J Burnett. Batters- Stephen Drew and Nelson Cruz Remember, new rules say every free agent signing risks a 1st round pick only if you are out of the top 10 picks, those teams risk a 2nd rounder. This will be an AWESOME season. Basketball- it was a good day in B-ball yesterday, we saw some great games! Here...

Seattle Brings it Home for #1

BLOWOUT! We were looking for a low scoring close and awesome game? Someone known to win MVP? Not in this Super Bowl! Oh, and I forgot, A SAFETY ON THE 1st PLAY! This game was ALL Seattle from the start, it started off with a great stop on Broncos Up-and-Down playing Kick Returner Trinton Holiday when he got hit and almost fumbled. On the 1st play from scrimmage (and the 1st “Omaha!’s” 🙂 ) Center Manny Ramirez who had a great season launched the ball high over Peyton Manning’s head and luckily the Broncos recovered it but the Seahawks got a 2-point Safety which is very rare to happen in any game ESPECIALLY in the Super Bowl! The Broncos were forced to Punt it back because a Safety counts as 2 points for the Seahawks and the ball back. That’s when Seattle’s big O started to rumble. They managed to get 2 FG’s and led 8 zip at the end of #1. The Seahawks held the Broncos #1 Offense to 11 yards in the 1st Quarter and 0 1st downs. Manning’s gonna come back right? Nope! The Seahawks got a Marshawn Lynch 1 yd TD and he got some Skittles and then Peyton Manning threw one of his “Ducks” for a pick 6 to Malcom Smith. (Give some credit to Richard Sherman, he was right about Manning’s “Ducks” he...
