D-Jax Signs with the ‘Skins

Former Eagles wideout DeSean Jackson signed a 3 year, $24M contract with the Redskins after being released by the Eagles for a rumor of off the field incidents. Great deal for the Redskins, Jackson will help emerging young star Robert Griffin III with his deep throws a ton. Jackson had 7 TD’s of 15+  yards last season. He is also a weapon in the trick game option when he can run on a handoff for a TD. he will compete with the ‘Skins other #1 receiver Pierre Garçon for most of the catches. Jackson will also play his former team, the Eagles twice a year.  New HC Jay Gruden has some serious work to do… The Mets and Yankees are now both 0-2 after losses last night.  The Yankees should be more concerned losing to in my opinion, the worst team in the league, the Astros. Pitcher C.C Sabathia had 6 ER in his 1st start on tuesday and Hiroki Kuroda lost it last night. Bad start for a team with very high expectations and in a tough division. The Mets on the other hand are playing the division favorites and the best team in the league by some people: the Nationals. Losing on Monday was a sure win lost for the Mets and last night was a very disappointing game with new pitcher Bartolo Colon letting up 3 runs and 1 HR to...

Bills legendary owner, Ralph Wilson passed away yesterday at age 95. The Bills home stadium is called “Ralph Wilson Stadium” named after him. He  led the Bills to 2 AFL Championships and a memorable 4 straight Super Bowls but lost all of them.  He founded the Bills and is the only owner left from the AFL in the NFL. CRUSH Davis Homers in Win!

Sarasota, Florida– The Yankees battled the Orioles yesterday and it was a good game. The game was a pitching battle with only 11 hits through both teams. Both teams went hitless through 3 quick innings until former Oriole, Brian Roberts got a hit for NYY. 1B Francisco Arcia homered for the Yankees to make it 1-0. But that was all they got when 1B Chris Davis homered and tied it at 1. Delmond Young hit a double and Jemile Weeks pinch ran for him. He stole a base and scored! The Orioles led 2-1 and that was the final score! Newly acquired to the O’s, Suk Min Yoon was the winning pitcher. Chris Davis had a HR and went 2-3 with a single and Delmond Young hit a single and a double in the win. Francisco Arcia went 1-2 with a homer and a walk in the loss. Ramon Flores went 1-2 with a double and former Oriole Brian Roberts went 2-3 with 2 singles. What an awesome game… News from ALL SPORTS!!!- MLB: In the Yankees 2nd game of the day in Panama, they had a reunion with Panama native and former Yankee pitcher Mariano Rivera. That wasn’t the focus of the game, the Marlins were! The Marlins pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter! The Marlins were on top 5-0 at the end. The Mets had 2 games...

Free Agent Palooza!

Trades and pickups have started and here is a report on what happened… 1- OL Jonathan Martin was traded to the 9’ers for a 2015 6th rounder yesterday. Martin was the victim in the Dolphins bullying scandal which I thought was really un-football like. 49’ers coach Jim Harbaugh was his college coach at Stanford. Look for a fresh start for Miami and Martin. 2- The Denver Broncos are really improving their Defense by signing DB T.J Ward to a 4 year $23 M contract, Ward played with Cleveland last year and had a good season. “Oh you think that’s it?” Broncos GM John Elway signed CB Aquib Talib to a 6 year $56 M contract. Despite him playing on the Jets rival Patriots, I loved him as a CB and will be a HUGE upgrade to Denver, he shut out many top receivers and Denver will love him. The Broncos lost Champ Bailey and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie but they are getting closer to retirement. Look for Denver to draft a WR to replace Eric Decker and get another man up-front. 3- WR Miles Austin and DL DeMarcus Ware and Julius Peppers were released but their teams yesterday. Ware is looking to sign with Denver so watch out! That would perfect the Broncos D with him rushing the QB! Peppers will really help a struggling D or help lead and perfect...
