Hey You, Over There!

NFL- 2 Players were suspended yesterday from cases of the 2014-15 season. Steelers star RB Le’Veon Bell was suspended 3 games after charges before week 1 2014 and his former teammate (now on the patriots) LeGarrete Blount was suspended for the 1st game of 2015 for old charges. Hopefully these stars learn their lesson because players now know what can happen in a big case like Peterson…                                        Future Hall of Fame Safety, Troy Polamalu retired at the age of 33...

Heads Up!

Hello sports world! Here’s a quick sum on some headlines from sports… Baseball- Today will be day 4 already of baseball and teams already look in mid season form!  The Top player from yesterday was easily Dodgers very own Adrian Gonzalez who hit 3 solo HR’s plus adding in a RBI! Gonzo now has 5 homers in only 3 games for LA! Talk about a way to start off the year! For real, this guy right now is on pace for 270 HR’s this year! Talk about a record! My Mets led by reigning ROTY Jacob deGrom lost yesterday 2-1 in a tough game vs the Nats. But we’re in luck because today is Harvey Day where ace Matt Harvey will pitch his 1st major league ball since 2013! Let’s see what he’ll bring!  NBA- Teams are down to there final 3 or 4 games before the regular season ends and the playoffs come! It should be a heated playoff year but also a big last 4 games. Here’s a standings update…  East- Race for the final two spots: The Current holders are Brooklyn and Boston with 36-42 records. The teams alive for those spots are Miami and Indy with 35-43 records (1 GB) and Charlotte who is 33-45 and must win 3 of 4 and hope the 7 and 8 seeds lose out basically so there chances are...

Harden Can’t Be Stopped

James Harden is still doing James Harden things late season. The Beard scored 41 points in the Rockets big win over the Thunder. Him and Steph Curry will be in the major MVP running… The Ckeveland Indians have signed reigning AL Cy Young pitcher Corey Kluber to a 5 year, $38M contract with 2020 and 2021 team options. The Indians have a future in this guy… Finally the MLB starts today! The new and improved Cubs and Cardinals willowy tonight at Wrigley in Chicago for a great kickoff!  Sorry for the no recap of the game but here’s my opinion on last night’s Kentucky Vs Wisconsin game: First off this loss kinda ruins Kentucky’s amazing 38 game winning streak because when your expected to win, you must live up to expectations. As I heard from ESPN this morning, they talked about how this season is almost like a bust for UK because they expected a title. I hope to remember this team in 30 years but I’ll remember them for the loss.  On the game I really think the officiating was poor. I was a neutral fan in this game but some of the calls made me sit up from my spot. Especially the shot clock missed call EVEN after a very clear review by the refs. But nothing else to complain about and Wisconsin deserved every second of...

Another Day in the NBA

As the playoffs inch closer, the NBA games are getting better! News: Celtics big man, Kelly Olynyk, suffered a huge black eye during a 1 on 1 during war ups but still managed to score 19 points in their game while the Celts are trying to make a unexpected playoff run… The Kings called up yet another D-League player in 7’5 big man Sim Bhullar. Sim is the first Indian player to ever be on a NBA team. He played great with the D-League Reno Bighorns this year… Spurs clinched their 18th straight playoff berth yesterday which means PF Tim Duncan has never missed a playoffs before, talk about luck! The Nets and Heat are tied for the 7/8 seed(s) with the Nets winning last night Game Headlines-  Brook Lopez tip in sends Nets to a 100-98 victory Cp3 drops 41 and 17 assists in Clips win Harden drops 50+ again in Rockets win while Kings Demarcus Cousins scores 24 points, 21 rebounds and 10 dimes in his loss Russell Westbrook struck again with his 10th triple double and Anthony Morrow added 32 points but the Thunder lose important game How do you feel about Tim Duncan and the Spur’s...

Curry Adds a Special Topping in Win

STEPH-CURRY! That man is too good for the NBA! His Warriors who clinched the 1 seed in the west played the Clippers who clinched the playoffs… The Warriors won 110-106 behind strong games from many players but had the cross up of the year on Chris Paul. When I say of the year I mean it! Curry did a double behind the back dribble sending Paul to the floor and then curry hit a shot! Look it up, it’s awesome. The Heat had a big 95-81 loss last night to the Spurs in a finals rematch…. In the NBA many teams are in the race for the East’s 6,7 and 8 seeds held by teams that would be out of contention in the West! The West’s 6,7 and 8 seeds are up too! Only 2 teams remain in the West that can possibly clinch the playoffs who aren’t ranked in the top 8 yet… NHL- Only 3 teams in the East have clinched a playoff spot with the Rangers in 1st who had a nice 3-2 comeback vs the Jets last night. The Islanders high stock has been going down after a slow end to the year but they will most likely make the playoffs… In the West only 2 teams have clinched with the “Mighty” Ducks in 1st.  The NHL postseason in both conferences is wide open and...
