Anyone like the Browns?

The Browns are the line team left without a head coach. Yesterday the Vikings hired defensive mind Mike Zimmer. He was the Defensive Coordinator for the Bengals who were great on D in points allowed and interceptions. Minnesota on the other hand, was the opposite of that. He’s coached in college on D from 1979 to ’93. In the NFL he coached the Cowboys from ’94 to ’06 as a DC and a DB coach and won a Super Bowl. Then he was a DC with the Falcons in ’07 and Bengals DC to last season. The Vikings have the 8th pick of the draft. Now the Browns are the lone team without a coach. Who will they pick? The Patriots reported some unexpected news yesterday, backup QB Ryan Mallett was taking 1st team reps because Tom Brady was sick. Look for him to be back next practice. Tennis: wow it is hot at the Australian Open, it was 107 degrees there! We saw some big wins go to the favorites today. Probably there will be the same temp today. In the NBA we saw something very weird. The Wizards beat the Heat! The Heat lost by 17 and were down by as much as 34! Yes, the Wizards are a bad team but they did not play like it. The Heat are on a 3 game losing streak...

J.J puts on a show!

In last night’s Nets vs. Heat game, most of the players wore their Nick-names on their jerseys! It was pretty cool! It went to double OT!!! After 1OT. It got out of hand and the Nets were hitting shots and won by 9. J.J (Joe Johnson) scored 22 points in the 1st quarter! He had 1 miss in the 1st! He finished with 32 points. But that wasn’t enough for the most in the game, King James ( LeBron James), had 36 points but fouled out for the 1st time since 2008. The Nets are 5-0 in the new year. MLB: the MLB is most likely going to make a decision for A-Rod’s 211 game suspension appeal this weekend. I predict if A-Rod loses his appeal it will end his career. In college football, Alabama hired former USC coach Lane Kiffin. Kiffin will help a lot with roll...

Off to Cooperstown

Today some legends will make it to the legendary baseball hall of fame… There are some great players in their 1st year, I am rooting for former Mets catcher Mike Piazza. They will be announced starting at twelve to three. In baseball, Dodgers coach, Don Mattingly was awarded a contract through 2016. The money is unknown. Hopefully, the Dodgers can over come their past seasons with amazingly high expectations. In Basketball, their were some big scorers last night , I watched the Knicks game, and Raymond Felton did good in his return and like always, Melo put on a show. Here are some of the top scorers of the night. 1- Kevin Durant 48 points 2- Damian Lillard 41 points 3- Gordon Hayward 37 points 4 – DeMarcus Cousins 35 points 5- Carmelo Anthony 34 points 5 – C.J Miles 34 points 6- Michael Carter-Williams 33 Points 7- LeBron James 32 points 8 Mike Conley 30...

Top Free-Agent Signings

Their has been A LOT of signings and trades in the MLB off-season, here are MY top trades and pickups. Prince Fielder to Rangers for Ian Kinsler. We all know Fielder signed a monster contract with the Tigers and they will pay him big money over the next 7 years. Kinsler will be good for the Tigers because he can get on base for MVP Miguel Cabrera. Fielder will give a big bat for the Rangers. Curtis Granderson to Mets. 4 years YES! The ‘amazins finally found a big bat that can hit in Citi’s big walls. I’m very excited. Robinson Cano to Mariners. 10 years. Don’t ya know, Robbie Cano? Probably everyone knows him after signing a $240 million contract with the M’s. He’ll be 40 at the end of his contract. The big questions are, will be last for 10 years with a 70 win team? Probably not since he’s been with the Pinstripes forever. Carlos Beltran to Yankees. 3 years. The Yankees OF was full of superstars already and with Beltran? Just Amazing. He’ll provide a big bat and hit for base-hits. Jacoby Elsbury to Yankees. 7 years. Elsbury will be big for the Yankees with his big bat. If all the new players stay healthy, he will lead this franchise to a title. Brian McCann to Yankees. I’ve probably said everything about the Yanks. McCann...
