In yesterdays MNF game vs the Steelers, the 1-8 Cheifs made some history for this season. They finally led the game in regulation. Jamaal Charles ran for a TD. You are probaly wondering “If they never led a game then how did they win?” The answer is they won against New Orleans in OT. Now on the game: The game started with a Jamaal Charles run for a TD to lead 7-0. Then the Chiefs got a early 2nd Q FG from Ryan Sucoop to lead 10-0. In the middle of the Q Shaun Suisham hit a FG to put Pittsburgh on the board. Near the end of the 2nd Q Big Ben Rothlisberger threw a floater to Mike Wallace in the end zone and he caught the ball in 1 hand, put it in his knees so he could use his hands to shake the defender off, put the ball back in his hand and got a TD. The game was tied 10-10 at halftime. No one scored in the 3rd Q. To lead off the 4th Q Shaun Suisham got a FG to put Pittsburgh in the lead 13-10. Rookie QB for the Indianapolis Colts Andrew Luck is having one of the best rookie seasons in NFL history this year. This year he was the 1st overall pick of the NFL draft and he’s really playing like it. So far he’s broken some of the Rookie QB records like most passing yds in a game (433 yds). But the best thing about Luck is that he replaced the Colt great Peyton Manning after he got traded to the Denver Broncos. Manning and Luck are having very similar seasons this year. They both at the end of Week 9 had the same amount of total passing yds. So far Luck’s favorite target is Reggie Wayne who has the most reception yds this season. He also had 96 last night in their easy win at Jacksonville. So far Luck has been one of the Biggest names in pro football this year which is a big accomplishment. There are 2 QB situations in the NFL right now. The NY Jets and the Phillidelphia Eagles. These teams have a REAL QB problem. First about the Eagles. QB for the Eagles Michael Vick is having one of his worst seasons ever on the Eagles. He has 9 interceptions with 10 TD’s. Last night he got sacked 7 times! This is becoming a nightmare season for the 3-5 Eagles. Coach Andy Reid has been keeping Vick in the starting position. A good solution would be BENCH THE QB ALREADY! Now on to the Jets. QB Mark Sanchez is also having one of his worst seasons on the Jets. He’s doing better than Vick this season but the fans want TEBOW TIME!
