At ten beginning of the season, the Knicks and Nets were top 5 teams. (On Paper). Things don’t always go your way (on) the court because the Knicks and Nets are in the bottom 3 for the NBA! Those teams faced each other last night in Brooklyn. It was not a close game at all when the Knicks won 113-83. Despite the losses, the Knicks and Nets are tied for last in the Atlantic but 2 1\2 games out of 1st! The Atlantic is led by the 8-12 Celtics!!!! A Sunday Summary

It was a big day in the NFL yesterday. Here is my usual, ‘Sunday Summary’… In the early games, Nick Foles used his big tight ends for 3 TD’s and 0 picks to pull out a win vs Arizona. Foles has a 19-0 TD/INT radio. The Vikings survived another OT game with a game winning Blair Walsh FG vs the Bears. Despite Ben Tate’s 3 TD’s, the Patriots got a Steven Gostkowski FG to beat the Texans 34-31. The Texans have lost 10 consecutive games. The Jaguars are now on a roll after losing 9 straight games, they won their last 3. They beat the Cleveland Browns 32-28, despite Josh Gordon’s 200+ yard game. Gordon made history to be the 1st person in history with 2 straight 200+ yard games. In PPR leagues, he had 50 fantasy points. In the late games, Peyton Manning and the Broncos faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs. Eric Decker had a monster game for Denver with 4 TD’s. It all came down to the final drive, but Denver stopped KC on 4th down to win 35-28. KC is on a 3 game losing streak after going 9-0. The Falcons played the Bills in Toronto, QB Matt Ryan threw for over 300 yards and RB Steven Jackson ran for 2 TD’s to lead Atlanta to a 34-31 win to stop a 5 game...

What to do?

The top 2 games of yesterday ended in a, “what should we do”? Situation. Lets start with Michigan Vs Ohio State. With 32 seconds left in ten Michigan, Ohio State game Michigan scored a TD to be down 42-41. Coach Brady Hoke was afraid they could not get it done in OT, so they went for the win. Ohio State picked the 2pt conversion off and won the game. The talk of the day was the Alabama vs Auburn game. With minutes remaining Auburn scored a TD to tie the game. Alabama got the ball and ran the ball with about 10 sec left. The running back ran out of bounds. The clock expired so OT was coming. But, they reviewed the play and said he went out with 1 second left. Instead of a Hail Mary, the tried a FG. They pulled their normal kicker after missing 3 FG’s I the game and put in a Freshman to kick the 54 yarder. The field goal was short and it went to the 109 yard line. The person at the back of the end-zone decided to try a run back. Alabama could not tackle him and he ran back for a 109 yard TD. Alabama was handed it’s 1st loss. We’re these coaching decisions...

Broncos and Chiefs are handed loss #2

The Kansas City Chiefs played the Chargers at home yesterday. The game was a shootout with TD after TD but Chiefs QB Alex Smith threw a TD to Dwayne Bowe to go up. But the Chargers did not give up when Philip Rivers aired the ball out to WR Seyi Ajirotutu for the game winner. The Broncos played the Patriots on SNF last night. It was Peyton Manning and Tom Brady’s 14th showdown. The Broncos exploded with 3 fumble recoveries in the 1st quarter. After a Jacob Tamme TD the Broncos led 24-0 at half. Then the Patriots exploded for 31 points when Tom Brady used Julian Edelman to get 2 and Rob Gronkowski to get TD’s and 3rd RB Branden Bolden got a TD. Brady was up, but Manning threw a TD to his man Demarius Thomas to go into OT. The ball went around until the Broncos accidentally got hit by a punt and fumbled. The Pats recovered and kicked a FG for the win. The Broncos were handed their 2nd loss. Notable games: The Packers and Vikings had a tie in their game with a score of 26-26. Former Packers QB who just signed with them again, Matt Flynn led the comeback after they pulled Scott Toilzen. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers upset the Lions when WR of the Lions Calvin Johnson potentially won the game but...
