The NFL is starting tonight! Giants Cowboys at 8:30. I’m VERY excited for the game. I think the G-MEN will pull off this game for a win. Tony Romo and the Cowboys will have no offense tonight. What happened to the Yanks! They were recently in first place by 10 games, but now they are in first by ONE GAME! The 2nd place Orioles are red hot and they are the ones who cut down the Yanks lead to One game. In third place the Rays are only down by 2 1/2 games thanks to the O’s. Now some people say the Yanks might not make the playoffs because of this tight race for the pennant. I’ll keep track of what happens. What a dabut for 19 year old Texas Ranger Jurickson Profar. In his first at bat he crushed a solo HR. He ended up going 2-4 with a run and a RBI. Profar does have a bright future and can learn a lot from his teammates. He also has something in common with Bryce Harper. They both started in the majors at the same age. 19 years 195 days! Michigan 14 Bama 41. That was the score I saw when I woke up. I watched most of the game hoping to wake up to a better score. During the game I found some big factors that controlled the game. For the Wolverines I noticed that they had a poor Defense, Bama got right past Michigan on Offense. And #2, Michigan had no running game because of Bama’s amazing D. Bama had perfect offense last night. Their running game was impressive even without Trent Richardson and they had a very good passing game. But the biggest factor was Bama’s AMAZING Defense. They had 2 interceptions including 1 pick 6. In the first half Michigan was held to only punting because of the Crimson Tides D. At one point the Blue was averaging 2.0 yards per play! Alabama really played like a championship team. The lesson learned is… Defense always wins games. In any event, I’m still wearing my Michigan...
