Oh no Tigers! The Princeton Tigers lost to Penn 28-21 yesterday. I was at the game with some of my Family. We had a great time at the game. Now about the game. In the first quarter Penn scored early after an interception to go up 7-0, but Princeton came roaring back with 2 passing TD’s in the second quarter to go up 13-7. They failed 2 pt conversion after a bad snap for a extra point. Later Penn got a TD to go up 14-13 at half. Princeton started of strong in the 3rd quarter after getting a TD and a 2 pt conversion to make up that bad snap. Princeton had a comfortable lead going into the 4th quarter. Princeton had the ball near the End Zone and the bad started here. Princeton threw a Pick 6 and Penn tied the game up lickidy split. More bad happened when Penn scored a TD with a few minutes left to go up 28-21. Now it was a 2 min drill for Princeton. Princeton played hard and got up to the Red Zone. But QB Connor Michelson got blocked by a defender and fumbled to lose the game. Princeton droped to 4-4 and into 4th place after the tuff loss. Even though we lost we had the best time. Why can’t the Jets ever get a comeback and win? The rivalry was Jets vs Pats. A little fun fact coming into this division game is that both the Jets and the Patriots were 51-51-1 against each other in their history. When the game started the Jets got an early rushing TD by Shonne Greene to lead 7-0. But the Pats came roaring back with a 104 yd kickoff return then a Gronk TD. The Pats lead 14-7 going into the second quarter. In the second the Pats got an early safety to lead 16-7. The Jets ended the half with a field goal to cut the score to a one score game. The 3rd quarter wasn’t that exciting either when the jets got another field goal and the Pats got another TD by Gronk. The Pats led 23-13 going into the 4th. This quarter was when the game got intresting. The Jets got an early 7 yd passing TD to Dustin Keller to make the score 23-20 Pats. But Nick Folk got 2 more field goals for the Jets to make the score 26-23. The Jets were winning but you know these are the Jets and they can blow the lead easily. What a BIG blowout! Yesterday the NY Jets blew out the Indianapolis Colts 35-9! Indy got off to a 3-0 lead in the 1st quarter but when I came in the 2nd quarter Shonne Greene ran for a TD. Here’s a play that really immpressed me – it was 4th down and 11 and Tebow was wide from the snapper. I said ” Tebow’s definetly not running the fake punt play.” But guess what he took the snap and passed it for the 1st. That led to a TD by Stephen Hill.
