Sunday was one of the most high scoring football sunday’s i’ve ever seen! So much scoring! Anyway my fantasy football team clinched 6th place in my 16 team league thanks to a big 129-119 win. That means the playoffs are coming and i’m in a good situation with a completely transformed team. My season so far has been a roller-coaster ride with wins and losses up and down and the fact that for the 2nd season in a row, i’ve got rid of every player through dropping and trading except Jordan Reed who I literally couldn’t get rid of… Here’s a recap on yesterday’s games… WAS-27|IND-49: If not for RG3’s benching to veteran QB Colt McCoy, this would of been the 1st RG3 vs. Luck game ever, the #1 and 2 picks in the 2012 draft. But you can see clearly what was the more logical choice while Andrew Luck continued his beast-mode season throwing 5 TD’s and 370 yds. coming off a poor 1st quarter. “Boom” Herron has now stepped in to the Colts starting RB role after his 8 carry 88 yard day adding a TD. He’s 100 percent over matched Trent Richardson who came to Indy last year with high expectations. Touchdowns and Fantasy Points! Coming to a TV near you! Yesterday’s thanksgiving games were action packed (Just for the winning team)… There were 3 blowout victories on Thanksgiving yesterday and 2 of them sent their own fans with upset stomachs on turkey and a loss. Here’s a recap on all 3 games… Bears @ Lions: Detroit is yet hosting ANOTHER thanksgiving feast against the Bears! (Fun Fact: This is the Lions 75th Thanksgiving Day game!) The game started off surprisingly strong for Chicago against Detroit’s top notch D. QB Jay Cutler threw 2 TD’s to Alshon Jeffery in that 1st Quarter to take a 14-3 lead. And then everything stopped for Chicago, they only scored 1 more time the whole game on a Robbie Gould FG while Detroit scored 21 unanswered points on 2 Megatron TD’s and a Joique Bell 1 YD TD. The game ended in a 34-17 blowout win for Detroit to help their playoff chances and improve to 8-4, .5 of a game behind the white hot Packers who play the AFC’s best Patriots in the top matchup of Sunday. Detroit is in the playoff picture as of now with the 6 seed but could very well move up with a soft schedule to close out the year. Week 10 is now awaiting it’s last game of the week tonight where the Eagles and Panthers will face off. The Steelers looked like a 0-6 team about through the first half, they were shutout 13-0 and then, with 3:08 left in the half, it all happened. The big domination from the Steel- Curtain started with a Shaun Suisham FG. Then QB: Ben Rothlisberger hit rookie Martavis Bryant for a long catch and for his 1st career TD in his 1st career game! The momentum was still with Pittsburgh in these last 3 minutes when Texans RB Arian Foster fumbled in deep Texans territory to give the Steelers the ball! Now with less than 1 minute left, Rothlisberger pitched the ball to WR Antonio Brown on 1st and goal and he threw it ( you read that right ) to WR Lance Moore for the TD! But wait, they were not done yet when Texans QB Ryan Fitzpatrick’s pass was deflected off a steeler defender and Texans receiver and into the hands of Steelers big man, Brett Keiselmfor his 2nd career pick! Then to cap this incredible 3 minute drill off, Rothlisberger hit RB Le’Veon Bell for the score! The Steelers kept the lead to win 30-23 and go to 4-3 while Houston went to 3-4. In the NFL yesterday we had a lot of crazy achievements and other bizarre stuff happening! Here are some: Tom Brady reaches 50,000 passing yards Peyton Manning throws 500th TD Demarius Thomas had 226 receiving yards to break Shannon Sharpe’s record of 213 Wes Welker received his 854th pass to move past Rod Smith for most catches by an undrafted player   News: There are currently 0 teams with a undefeated record after the Cardinals and Bengals fell to 3-1 after their bye. That can mean a close playoff race towards the end of the season (Herm Edwards would be screaming after he read what I wrote 🙂 ). Well, we can see the Jets not making the postseason while falling to 1-4 with a 31-0 loss to the Chargers. This made every Jets fan embarrassed and even made me start to almost root against them. They are so bad!!!!!!!!!! They tried benching Geno Smith at halftime because he was playing terrible and put in the 34 year old Mike Vick. Vick played just as worse.
