MVP, Triple Crown! How many awards can one guy win?
AL MVP, Triple Crown? Can one man win all that in a season? Yes. His name is Miguel Cabrera. No one has won the Triple Crown since Carl Yastrzemski in 1967!!! He’s that good to win that. Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers has stats that will make your mouth drop. Here they are: 40 HR’s (2nd in the AL), 129 RBI’s (1st in the AL) and his batting average is a sizzling 333 (1st in the AL). Now those are amazing stats. His stats last night were remarkable: 2 HR’s and 6 RBI’s. One solo blast and a grand slam. Also a sac fly for that magic 6 RBI’s. Detroit has a good chance to make the postseason this year. But there is one person that can take his MVP season – Rookie Mike Trout.
