That’s it!!!

That’s it!!! Yesterday the Knicks played the Pacers in game 2 of their series. At half the Knicks led 47-42 and after that they were on FIRE! In the 4th the Knicks scored 33 and the Pacers scored 13 points leading the Knicks to a 105-79 win. Melo had 32 points and shot .500 from the field. The series will now go to Indiana tied 1-1. Hockey: Last night the Islanders played the Penguins in game 4 of their series. Think about this, when everyone thinks of a 1seed vs 8 seed game they usually think of a blowout especially with the Penguins but surprisingly the Isles have really kept it close winning game 2 and keeping game 3 close forcing it to OT. Now last night was a great night for Islander fans when the Isles won 6-4 in a goal scoring party. Now people are maybe thinking twice about this series especially me when I kept saying don’t believe in the Isles they’ll never win in a million years! The Penguins now have to start playing some Hockey to prove who they really are. The Rangers will play the Capitals tonight at 7:30 PM eastern time. Soccer: Here is some very surprising soccer news that was announced this morning. Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson will retire after this season. He is currently 71 and has been...

WHAT?!

Yesterday the Mets faced off against the Dodgers at Citi Field. Matt Harvey the sensation with an ERA under 1 started for the Mets. On the Other side Ted Lilly made his first Dodger start since last year. Harvey went 6 innings with 3 earned runs when he let up a HR to Matt Kemp for Kemp’s first of the season. The Mets cut down the lead to 3-2 in the 6th when Justin Turner hit a sac fly to score Marlon Byrd. Then in the bottom of the 9th with 2 out and a man on 3rd D-Wright got a single and the Mets tied the game. Then in the 10th the Dodgers couldn’t tack on any runs, so in the bottom of the 10th the Mets had the Bases loaded and put in pinch hitter Jordany Valdespin and he ended up hitting a walk-off, pinch-hit, Grand Slam to end the game in super grand fashion. Football- Tonight is the NFL draft on ESPN when the best of the best will be drafted. I am hoping the Jets will pick wisely in the draft. Also Yesterday the winner of the ‘Madden 25’ cover vote was announced when Hall of Fame running back Barry Saunders beat 2012-13 MVP Adrian Peterson in a close...

Y’er out of here!

Baseball : Yesterday the Los Angeles Dodgers faced off against the Padres. So in the 6th inning with a 3-2 count Dodgers pitcher Zack Grenikie hit Carlos Quentin and he charged the mound. But these two have a long history behind them dating back to 2008. Grenikie has hit Quentin 3 times. But Quentin leads the Padres with 42 HBP since 2011. Apparently Quentin leans into pitches to get hit. Now on the game… So Quentin charges Grenikie and rams into him shoulder first. Then the rest came into the fight and Quentin got ejected with Matt Kemp and Scott Hairston jr. Zack Grienkie injured his collarbone thanks to Quentin. He will be out for a lot of time. The Dodgers won the game 3-2. After the game Dodgers coach Don Mattingly talked with reporters and said Quentin shouldn’t play till Grenkie...

Oh Man!

Looks like the Mets can’t go 162-0 this year. Yesterday the Mets faced off against the Padres for the last game of the 3 game series. It was a low-scoring game when the Padres snuck out of NY with a 2-1 win. The Padres scored 1 in the 4th and 1 in the 8th to go up 2-0. The Mets Homered in the 9th from John Buck but it wasn’t enough. Dillion Gee was the losing pitcher in this game. Yesterday the Yanks faced off versus the Red Sox to end the 3 game series. The Yankees were 0-2 going into this game and not trying to repeat going 0-3 last season. The Yanks won 4-2 in this game when Francisco Cervelli and Brett Gardner had bombs. Andy Pettite who is still pitching for the Yanks got the win while (Sandman) Mariano Rivera got a save in his season...

OK… Not Bad

The Mets are 2-0 but they still need to work on relief pitching. Last night rookie phenom pitcher Matt Harvey started for the Mets and went 7 innings in his 1st start shutting out the Padres and only letting up 1 hit and 2 walks. The Mets were creaming the ball on offense scoring 8 runs through 5 innings. But when the Mets Relief Pitching started it was a disaster like all seasons when the Relievers let up 4 runs but still held on to a 8-4 win. The Mets starting pitching and batting is awesome right now. Their Minor Leaguers are great so that’s a key. But the Relief Pitchers are NIGHTMARES! Just please work on it Mets....
