In last nights ALCS, pitcher Jake Peavy and the Red Sox took on the Tigers. The Tigers came out with an offensive explosion scoring 7 runs in the first 4 innings. Miguel Cabrera, Torii Hunter and Austin Jackson drove in 6 runs together. The Red Sox only scored 3 runs in the game and the Tigers rolled to a 7-3 win to tie the series. Butter Fingers!

The players in last night’s Monday Night Football game were dropping the ball and in Last nights NLCS they were missing the ball. In last night’s Chargers vs. Colts game the Colts were dropping the ball a lot. That really cost them the win when Kicker Adam Vinateri kicked 3 field goals and 2 from 50+, (50,51). The Chargers scored on a Keenan Allen TD reception from Philip Rivers and Kicker Nick Novak kicked 4 field goals. The Chargers won 19-9. In last nights NLCS the St.Louis Cardinals were having a lot of mis-communication in their outfield. Shortstop Hanley Ramirez was reported with a fractured Rib and announced he would play in last night’s game. Hanley had 2 hits, and both of them were pop-ups that should of been caught, but they just dropped right in front of the Cardinals outfield for hits. Yasiel Puig, the rookie for the Dodgers had a remarkable season this year. He led the Dodgers to their win, by hitting what looked like a short Home Run, to a RBI Triple. That was another error by the Cardinals RF when the ball was hit onto the wall and was catchable before it hit the wall. Hyun- Jin – Ryu pitched 7 innings and let up 0 to shut out the Cards. The Dodgers won 3-0 and are down 2-1 in the...

He’s got it! He’s got it!

Wow. Rookie pitcher Michael Wacha from the Cardinals just pitched an amazing game. Out after out he had a no-no going into the 9th. Gets the first guy, one out. Next guy? See Ya! But the 3rd guy? Ryan Zimmerman hit a high bouncer but Wacha was not tall enough! The ball bounce into the infield and the 2nd baseman bare handed it to first and the first baseman took a chance on a sweep tag but he was safe. What a game for Michael Wacha. Will Wacha be a future superstar? Blog 198! 2...

Out for the season!

The Yankees just suffered a big loss. They lost SS Derek Jeter for the season with a ankle injury. He had one of his worst seasons of all time playing only 17 games. Remember last years ALCS vs the Tigers. That’s how this all started. Thankfully the Yanks of course picked up Mariners slick fielding SS Brendan Ryan. Next seasons questions are right now a big question. The Yankees have so far picked up this season OF Torii Hunter, All-Star from the cubs who really helped Alfonso Soriano and a late last season pickup Ichiro Suzuki from the Mariners. He picked up his 4,000 career hit with the Yanks. But what I’m really happy about is Mark Sanchez is making a decision if he wants season ending surgery to his shoulder which he injured vs the G-men in preseason. The Jets and Geno Smith will face off vs the injury full Patriots with WR Danny Amendola (groin) and Shane Vereen (broken wrist)( till week 11). Also Gronk is doubtful. Can Geno handle the...

The Pirates!

“In 1992 the Pirates ruled the ocean blue”. ” But for the next 20 seasons they walked the plank”. What I mean is the Pittsburgh Pirates clinched their first .500 season in 20 seasons last night in their 81st win vs the Brewers. CF Andrew McCuttchen, who homered in the fist inning of this game has really been a leader and helped this struggling franchise over these tough years. This year everybody came together and worked hard to break that losing streak. Are the Pirates no doubt playoff contenders? If yes how far can they...
