On a Personal Note

Last night was a special moment for the Mets and me. David Wright hit his 200th HR. It is special to me because he is my favorite Met.

Here come the Titans!

The Tennessee Titans really showed their true talent in yesterday’s game vs the Cardinals. I believe that the Titans can gain a lot of wins this season with rookie QB Jake Locker and rookie WR Kendall Wright. Those rooks will really connect with each other over the season. In yesterdays game vs the Cards, Locker connected with Kendall Wright and Nate Washington for his two passing TD’s. Locker threw for 134 yards and went 11-20 in passing attempts. The Cardinals are trying to pick a starting QB between John Skelton and Kevin Kolb. In the QB battle last night I think Kevin Kolb won. Kevin Kolb threw for 156 yards with 1 passing TD and 2 interceptions. Skelton threw for 41 yards and threw an interception. The final score was 32-27, Titans. Who do you think won the QB battle Kolb or Skelton? How do you think the Titans will do this...

Great day bad score

Today I went to the Mets game with my family – great seats, but not an exciting game. The final score was 1-0 Rockies, with no team scoring till the top of the 8th. The reason the Mets lost was because of their weak batting and Bobby Parnell’s bad pitching. The Mets failed to capitalize in the bottom of the 9th with a runner on second and 1...

Bad decision.

Nationals pitcher Stephen Strausburg is almost at the 160 innings pitched mark. The Nats decided to let him reach the mark by the end of the season. Currently Strausburg has 145 innings pitched. I don’t think the Nats should let him reach the limit. The Nats have the best record in baseball and will most likely be making the playoffs. If Strausburg reaches the 160 mark, he cannot pitch in the playoffs. Also, if he reaches the limit then I can’t pitch him for the rest of my fantasy season! However, if Strausburg reaches the limit, then MAYBE the Mets can catch up???????? By the way, wish the Mets luck tomorrow since I will be at the...

Can he get any better?

This man CAN do it all, his name, Derek Jeter. Yesterday he went 4-5 with a solo HR and 2 runs. Jeter passed N. Lajoe and E. Murray for 11th place on the all time hits list with 3,255 hits. Jeter is 38 years old and can still do this. Jeter has been very reliable this...
