NFL:

Former Jags star RB Maurice (MDJ) Jones-Drew retired Yesterday after 9 Awsome years of running the ball like a boss! He was a rushing yard champ a few years ago too! When I’ve talked about MJD, it’s always been: “yeah that small guy!”. MJD took that attention great as being that smart small runner. He was with a stint on Oakland the past 2 years but that went unplanned. He will most likely get a media spot in football…

Panthers signed TE Greg Olsen to a 3 yr. $22M deal yesterday. Olsen’s coming off a great season and is looking to repeat a great year in a group of struggling TE’s. That’s why he’s valuable…

Peyton Manning took a $4M pay cut from his $19M deal. He will obviously return for another season and 2016-17 is unknown…

The Patriots declined Vince Wilfork’s option and the long time Patriot and 2x SuperBowl champ is going into FA. Wilfork put out a nice Twitter speech saying he’ll always be a New Englander. Wilfork’s is a great run stopper and a great option for NT with Ndamukong Suh…

Long Time Steeler great S Troy Polumalu will not play another snap in the steel curtain with Pittsburgh hoping he retires so they won’t have to release him. If Polumalu stays in the NFL he will become a FA…

Free Agency is at 4PM Eas. On March  10th and it will be a great offseason! Look for the draft to be great too! I’m excited, are you!

NBA: Blazers sharp shooter Wesley Matthews tore his Achilles and is OUT for the season. Big loss for the Blazers and look for Aaron Affalo to have his role increased…

Russell Westbrook STAMPED his name in the MVP race after his past few performances while he’s all over the court! 2 straight triple doubles and a dent in his cheek leading to surgery and a mask! Now last night he almost triple doubled with 43 points, 8 boards and 7 dimes. The Thunder lost to the Bulls thanks to E’tuan Moore’s game winning 3 at the end. Kevin Durant is close to returning as the Thunder continue a late playoff push…

MLB:

Spring training is underway with many stars returning and warming up for the new season. The fans and teams are excited and today is game 3 for most. The Mets are 1-1 after a big win vs. Atlanta in game 1 and a 5-4 loss to Max Scherzer and the Nats yesterday. Matt Harvey will pitch vs Detroit today in his spring opener and hasn’t pitched in a MLB game since getting tommy John surgery in 2012. I’m excited as well as Mets fans to see the dark knight and his great rotation pitch this year!!!
