3 time Cy Young award winner Clayton Kershaw threw 0 no hitters until last night when he shut down the Rockies to 0 hits and 1 baserunner on a Hanley Ramirez throwing error. He also struck out 15 batters,  a career high. While his 107 pitch performance was going on, the Dodgers scored 8 runs. A great performance for Kershaw, his magical run is just at it’s peak…

For the Mets, they finally beat the Cardinals 3-2 yesterday. Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon looks like he’s in a “back to the future” movie with the way he’s pitching.  Now 7-5 on the year, Colon went 8 innings strong with 1 K and 4 hits allowed.  Dana Eveland got the save.  Eric Young jr. had a big day at the plate going 2-4 with a run and 2 rbi’s batting leadoff.  The Mets and Zach Wheeler will face the fish tonight at 7:10.
