Starting with Thursday’s Giants 45-14 blowout of the Redskins (that was over shadowed by Jeter’s last home game) the NFL had a crazzzzyyyyy week!

My Fantasy Team Update: My fantasy team is going to a 3-1 record this season with my win this week on my opponent. The score is 113-59 (me) heading into Monday Night. He is left with RB Jamaal Charles but a comeback would be almost impossible. I had a good week with only 2 players getting under 10 points in TE Niles Paul who got a concussion before the end of the 2nd half for the Redskins but was having a big night with 9 points already and Kicker Cody Parkey had 3 points because of a down game from the Eagles earning their 1st loss. Keenan Allen had a big 24 pt game for me and Jay Cutler reaching 21 in their loss to the Pack. I was also save with my opponent benching Steve Smith Sr. who exploded for 33 points for Roddy White and Andre Johnson. And he benched Tony Romo who had a big 30 point game vs. the Saints in their domination in SNF for Kirk Cousins who struggled to do anything on TNF with 7 total pts. Winning will most likely raise my team from 7th place of 16… Tonight’s game is New England against Kansas City.

The MLB regular season is over with Game 162 taking place yesterday. That means the playoffs are here and here are the winners…

AL East: Baltimore by 12 games to Yankees| NL East: Washington by 17 games to Mets and Atlanta

AL Central: Detroit by 1 game to Kansas City| NL Central: St. Louis by 2 games to Pittsburgh

AL West: Angels by 10 games to Oakland| NL West: Dodgers by 6 games to San Francisco

Wild Card AL: 1- Kansas City 2- Oakland by 1 game to Seattle| Wild Card NL: 1-Pittsburgh 2-San Francisco by 6 games to Milwaukee

I’m proud of my Mets this year finishing tied for 2nd in the NL East and 9 games back from the Wild Card! Finishing 79-83 (2 games under .500) this means big for NYM. Their pitching will be very strong next season with ace Matt Harvey back and NL Rookie of the year candidate, Jacob DeGrom. They also get Bobby Parnell back who they lost on opening day but have some relief pitchers who can start next year too! The Mets goal this offseason is to be smart, get a good relief pitcher or 2 and some big name power-hitters to boost their lineup. 1B Lucas Duda excelled this season with 30 homers leading NYM! Then with a healthy and determined Davis Wright and a determined squad and the big Free-Agent power hitter their hoping to pull, teams should be scared of the Mets for once and they have big expectations…
