5-2-15 Continues

Today was remarked my many (including me) as the biggest sports day ever! With some playoff games and the big May-Pac fight of the century coming up, here’s a recap on today so far… NFL Draft (Rd 4,5,6,7): The final rounds of the NFL draft finished just now with Louisville TE Gerald Christian being the lucky one drafted last as Mr.Irrelivent by AZ! This has been an amazing draft with some great steals but no major trades as in big NFL players with the Jets getting Zac Stacy and Deveir Posey in trades as the only team! A big storyline from today is LSU’s La’el Collins being  undrafted as a projected 1st rounder by many. He has been with Police in Baton Rouge discussion the shooting of his former girlfriend. Draft wise this is a surprise as he is a great player but it’s a risk like how the Broncos drafted Shane Ray and the Cowboys got Randy Gregory after they had drug cases recently… The Jets got their QB in Bryce Petty who is a great player but must prove himself to take away Geno’s spot at QB… Another story to look after is the Cowboys who lost leading NFL rusher DeMarco Murray did NOT draft a RB in this whole draft with so many great RB’s on the board through all 7 rounds and Vetran Darren McFadden...

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!! The sports world of 2015 kicks off today and viewers around the world are looking for an AWESOME year in the sports world! A lot is coming up now with the NFL Playoffs starting Saturday, the Winter Classic today and the 1st annual College Football Playoff! College Football- Bowl Games have been continuously going on in college Football and now we’ve entered the time of the biggest ones… Here’s a recap on what happened yesterday and whats coming today: Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl- Mississippi (Ole Miss) vs. TCU: Ole Miss and TCU (especially) were early Playoff options in this new playoff, but both were edged out (mostly TCU) by a tiny bit.. Anyway this game was a rout while TCU showed where they belonged and won 42-3 over Ole Miss! QB Trevone Boykin threw for 3 TD’s and 3 picks in the win while his D showed off and had a 0 yard and 100 yard Pick 6’s!  In my opinion TCU should have made the playoff over OSU for sure… Vizio Fiesta Bowl- Boise St. vs. Arizona: Unlike the game before, this was a close game while Boise St. edged out a slim 8 point win over ‘Zona while they had a crazy defensive hold in their 20 yd line in the closing seconds to win! With the win, Boise is 3-0 in the Fiesta Bowl....

Big Day for Big Blue

The Michigan wolverine athletic program had a big day yesterday. Michigan fired there Football coach Brady Hoke after his 4th season leading Michigan to a sub .500 record (5-7). Hoke has been decent as a coach but this season ruined his résumé. Michigan is targeting 49’ers head coach Jim Harbaugh who is almost certainly out with the struggling 9’ers who ruined their locker room pride. Harbaugh has been to a Super Bowl losing to the Ravens and his bro also losing to the Seahawks by seconds last season in the NFC Chip. Harbs has a high relationship with Michigan so you can’t count this out. Some good news❗️Michigan’s b-ball team beat the ‘Cuse by 3 in the final minute/seconds 68-65 in the Big 10 vs. ACC challenge! Spike Aldrecht had 9 dimes and 2 impressive ones in the win adding the go-ahead 3 from NBA range! Michigan is #17 in the country with a 5-1 record on a tough loss to a good...
