Back on track!

The Rangers are in a slump, a big one! Before last night’s game they were 3-7-1. Last year they were a deep playoff team. But let’s face it Callahan, Nash and Lundqvist are out and they are 3 leaders of this franchise. Also they have been on the road for 9 games straight due to Madison Square Garden. I went last night to the Rangers Islanders game at Nassau Coliseum also known as the “junkyard”. Thank you to the Blick’s, Jeff and Zach I had the best time. The Rangers had a goal to take the lead in the 1st period from rookie star Chris Krieder. The Islanders took a big loss in this game also with no Matt Moulson due to a trade sending him to Buffalo. In the 2nd period the Islanders came roaring with 2 goals from Cal Clutterbuck and Peter Reign. The isles led 2-1 heading into the 3rd. Then the Rangers were playing some Hockey scoring 2 goals from rookie Benouit Poulouit and Ryan McDonagh. The Ranger fans who outnumbered the Islander fans were on their feet cheering at those sad Islander fans. The Rangers pulled out a 3-2 win. Can the Rangers remain as playoff contenders? Tonight is Basketball! Knicks vs Bucks at the garden at 7:30! Lets go...

Highlights of the week

Marvin Jones had 8 receptions for 4 TD’s, a Bengals record. He also had 122 yards. Jordy Nelson was Aaron Rodgers primary target with 7 receptions for 123 yards and 2 TD’s. RB: Reggie Bush of the Lions rushed for 92 yards and a TD. Alfred Morris of the Redskins rushed for 93 and a TD. Hawks fly

The Seahawks were flying high last night when they beat the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football. Their defense played great especially the linebackers who were piling up sacks and their nasty secondary who had a few picks. Running Back for the Seahawks Marshawn Lynch had a good game rushing for 91 yards and a TD. Russell Wilson the Quarter Back of the Seahawks threw for over 200 yards and 3 TD’s. The Cardinals struggled with getting the ball up with Larry Fitzgerald played under 100% with a hammy injury. The Cardinals play the struggling Atlanta Falcons while the Seahawks don’t play till next Monday vs a shaky Rams...

Butter Fingers!

The players in last night’s Monday Night Football game were dropping the ball and in Last nights NLCS they were missing the ball. In last night’s Chargers vs. Colts game the Colts were dropping the ball a lot. That really cost them the win when Kicker Adam Vinateri kicked 3 field goals and 2 from 50+, (50,51). The Chargers scored on a Keenan Allen TD reception from Philip Rivers and Kicker Nick Novak kicked 4 field goals. The Chargers won 19-9. In last nights NLCS the St.Louis Cardinals were having a lot of mis-communication in their outfield. Shortstop Hanley Ramirez was reported with a fractured Rib and announced he would play in last night’s game. Hanley had 2 hits, and both of them were pop-ups that should of been caught, but they just dropped right in front of the Cardinals outfield for hits. Yasiel Puig, the rookie for the Dodgers had a remarkable season this year. He led the Dodgers to their win, by hitting what looked like a short Home Run, to a RBI Triple. That was another error by the Cardinals RF when the ball was hit onto the wall and was catchable before it hit the wall. Hyun- Jin – Ryu pitched 7 innings and let up 0 to shut out the Cards. The Dodgers won 3-0 and are down 2-1 in the...
