MICHIGAN’S # 1!!!!!!!!

YES!!!! MICHIGAN’S #1!!!!! You all know I am a big U of M fan so today is an awesome day to be a Michigan fan. This is the 1st time Michigan has been ranked #1 by the AP Poll since the Fab 5 which is by far the best Michigan team featuring : Ray Jackson, Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Jimmy King and Juwan Howard. That was in 1992. This Blue team deserves to be #1. They are arguably the best team in NCAA. 2 of the t eam leaders Glen Robinson III and Tim Hardaway jr. are sons of 2 great basketball stars. Another star and team leader Trey Burke leads the team in pts. Are the Wolverines coming back to life???? A fun fact about the Fab 5 is that the first game they all started together was Feb 9 1992 against Nortre Dame and in that game the 5 freshman scored all the pts!!! A golf update Tiger Woods has won the Farmers Insurance open. This was a great win for Tiger. It was his 8th win at Torrey Pines which is a record. His score was a great 14 under. This was the 7th win for Tiger in the Farmers Insurance open. Is this going to be the point when Tiger turns...

Uh-oh

Yesterday the Celtics made a decision that Rajon Rondo will be screaming about. Also Lionel Messi making history and the Lakers putting up a show. Soccer – Yesterday FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi made history when he scored 4 goals in a 5-1 win. He is the youngest player to score 200+ goals in La Liga. He averages 1.78 pts a game. If he was his own team he would be the 6th highest scoring team in the league! On the other hand, his rival player Christiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid scored a Hat -trick for his 15th time in the last 3 seasons. He leads Messi by 3 hat tricks and Falaco by 11. Basketball – yesterday the Celtics announced that All – Star Rajon Rondo is out for the season with a Torn ACL. This is a big loss for Boston. Rondo was voted as a starter in the 2013 All-Star game for the 1st time in his career. This is his 4th selection. Yesterday the Lakers played the Thunder in a predicted blowout game for the Thunder. But it went the other way when the Lakers won despite KD’s 35+pt game. Kobe has been a passer for the last 2 games which has been great for the...

Miami Wins and more…

Let’s get started… College B-ball : Yesterday #25 Miami (FL) upset #1 Duke in a 27 pt blowout. Miami went on a 25-1 run in the 1st half. I don’t know if Duke was playing sloppy or they just could not stop them. This was the first time Miami beat a #1 team. BUT this is not the first time Duke lost to a #1 team. Football : Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! The Jets have decided to trade pro bowl CB Darrell Revis. Revis would become a Free Agent next year anyway. Poor decision! Am I right? Basketball : Yesterday the Hornets have decided to change their logo to Pelicans for next year. They will be the New Orleans Pelicans. The Kings will move to Seattle next year and will most likely be the Seattle Kings or bring back the old Seattle Super...
