World Series Champions!

The San Francisco Giants won the World Series yesterday beating the Tigers 4-3 in 10 innings. They suprisingly swept the Detroit Tigers 4-0 in the Series. Last night Giants ace Matt Cain pitched a really great game. The Tigers however, finally scored some runs last night after being shut out in the first 3 games. Miguel Cabrera and Delmon Young each got a HR. The Giants won because of strong batting, strong pitching, great coaching and amazing teamwork. Pablo Sandoval won the MVP after hitting 3 HR’s in game 1. The Giants did everything right in the World Series. What was the biggest problem for the Tigers in the World...

On a personal note…

Last weekend I went to the Red Bulls game. I got to go on the field for the flag ceremony with my friends and brother. I held the Venezuela flag. During the game the Red Bulls could not score. They played a good match and tied 0-0 to the first place team Sporting Kansas...

The Panda Man

What an opening game for the Giants and “the Panda” Pabalo Sandoval. The panda hit 3 HR’s yesterday in game 1 of the World Seiries. That record tied 2 hall of famers and 1 future hall of famer – they are: “The Bambino” Babe Ruth (2x),”Mr. October” Reggie Jackson, future hall of famer Albert Pujols. About the game: Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander got eaten up yesterday. Most people predicted he would dominate the game last night but he pitched a poor game. He let up 2 HR’s to the Panda with 5 er’s. Verlander does have a bad history in pitching in the world series also. Giants pitcher Barry Zito pitched 5.2 strong innings with 3 k’s. Will Verlander have another poor start the next time he...

The World Series is all set!

The World Series is all set! Last night in the Cardinal vs Giants game 7 the Giants won the NLCS and the Cards went home. In last night’s game SP Matt Cain left with a win in 5.2 solid innings. He had 4 k’s and let up 5 hits. The hit that broke open the game was Hunter Pence’s. With the bases loaded he hit the ball, broke his bat, and the ball went past the SS to clear the bases. What’s weird about that hit is if you see the hit in slow-motion he touches the ball 3 times! Cool right? A 5 run 3rd inning was all the Giants needed to clinch the Fall Classic. The Giants won 9-0. The MVP of that Series was Giants Marco Scutaro. The World Series matchup will be Intresting this year when 2 unexpected playoff teams battle. Who will win and who will be the MVP in that...

The Classic Jets.

Why can’t the Jets ever get a comeback and win? The rivalry was Jets vs Pats. A little fun fact coming into this division game is that both the Jets and the Patriots were 51-51-1 against each other in their history. When the game started the Jets got an early rushing TD by Shonne Greene to lead 7-0. But the Pats came roaring back with a 104 yd kickoff return then a Gronk TD. The Pats lead 14-7 going into the second quarter. In the second the Pats got an early safety to lead 16-7. The Jets ended the half with a field goal to cut the score to a one score game. The 3rd quarter wasn’t that exciting either when the jets got another field goal and the Pats got another TD by Gronk. The Pats led 23-13 going into the 4th. This quarter was when the game got intresting. The Jets got an early 7 yd passing TD to Dustin Keller to make the score 23-20 Pats. But Nick Folk got 2 more field goals for the Jets to make the score 26-23. The Jets were winning but you know these are the Jets and they can blow the lead easily. The Pats ended the 4th with a field goal when time expired to put the game in OT. The Pats won the toss and elected to...
